Who we are

XDIGITAL ("we", "us", "our") builds and manages websites and Google Business Profiles for local service businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. If you have any questions, email hello@xdigital.au.

What we collect

• What you send us: when you fill in our contact form or email us, we collect your name, business name, industry, email address, phone number and anything you write in the message.
• Site analytics: we use privacy-friendly, aggregate web analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. This data is anonymised and not used to identify you personally.
• Technical logs: our hosting provider records standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, prepare a mockup and quote, and provide our services.
• To run, secure and improve the website.
• To send you service-related messages about work we are doing for you. We do not send marketing spam.

Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted providers that help us run the business — for example our website hosting (Vercel) and Google, where we manage your Business Profile — and only as far as needed to deliver the service. These providers may store data outside Australia.

Cookies & analytics

We keep tracking to a minimum. Our analytics are designed to avoid intrusive cookies. Any cookies that are used are for core functionality and basic, aggregate measurement.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client information for as long as we are working together and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then we delete or de-identify it.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@xdigital.au and we will action it promptly.

Australian Privacy Act

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first — and if you are still not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we update this policy we will change the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be made clear.
